On June 26, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, Wife of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, visited Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. She immersed herself in TCM culture and watched demonstrations of cupping, innovative stone needle therapy and other traditional TCM techniques.

She had an in-depth understanding of TCM therapeutic effects on diabetes, hypertension, lupus erythematosus and other illnesses. When told that national masters of TCM aged close to 100 still offer outpatient consultations here, Dr. Zubaida Rahman voiced her wish that TCM could bring wellness and a long healthy life to more people across the globe.
