On September 16, a Serbian delegation visited Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. Vice President Lyu Wenliang met with the delegation and hosted a bilateral symposium.

During the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussions on the diagnostic and therapeutic advantages of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the integration of TCM and Western medicine, scientific research innovation, and joint talent cultivation. Both parties agreed to establish regular exchange channels for academic exchanges, joint research and personnel training, and explore the localization and application of TCM technologies in Serbia.

The delegation, which included Mr. Vukašin Grozdić, State Secretary of Serbia’s Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, and Prof. Momir Dunjić, President of the Serbian Association of Integrative Medicine, expressed keen interest in the clinical practice of TCM.

The delegation visited the hospital's history exhibition and International Medical Department, and experienced TCM eye diagnosis and auricular acupuncture. This visit deepened the medical friendship between China and Serbia, promoted mutual learning between the two countries' traditional medicines, and will bring tangible benefits to people of both nations.
