The Department of Gynecology, with over 50 years history, established in 1969, has formed a good academic talent echelon under the leadership of Li Guangrong, the Capital TCM Master in gynecology and Zhao Ruihua, director of the Department. It has set up the Beijing "3+3" Project for TCM Inheritance-- Li Guangrong Famous Doctor Inheritance Workstation and the "Post-doctoral Workstation for the Inheritance of Academic Experience of Famous TCM experts". At the same time, it undertakes the tasks of teaching and clinical practice of TCM gynecology for postgraduates of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and Western doctors who learn TCM. The department has been awarded as one of the first batch of "Beijing TCM Specialized Diagnosis and Treatment Center" and "Key Specialty and Key Discipline Construction Unit of State Administration of TCM".

The department has 7 chief physicians, 8 associate chief physicians, 9 attending physicians, and 1 resident physician. Among them, 10 have doctoral degree, 12 have master degree, 2 are postdoctoral supervisors, 2 are doctoral supervisors, and 5 are master supervisors.

At present, the outpatient clinics (VIP clinic, expert's clinic, special disease clinic, general clinic) and wards are set up to meet the requirements of all kinds of gynecological patients. The outpatient clinics are located on the 4th floor of Building 8, with separate consulting rooms, ultrasound diagnosis room, colposcopy room, outpatient operating room and family planning consulting room.

We are food at treating obstetrics and gynecology diseases and gynecological tumors with integrated TCM and western medicine and provide medical services including gynecological ultrasound examination, family planning surgery, hydrotubation, colposcopy examination, birth guidance and others. We also do routine gynecological operations such as painless family planning surgery, open surgery, hysteroscopy, LEEP knife surgery, etc.
